Happy Tuesday fellow book-lovers! Though I’m new to the blogosphere, I’ve come across this super fun thing called Top Ten Tuesdays! TTT is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Every Tuesday, she posts a new bookish topic and list for discussion to her blog. Today’s topic is “Top Ten Bookish Merchandise I’d Love To Own.”
So (in no particular order) here are ten book-related goodies at the top of my wish list:

1. Bookish candles and wax melts
I am very into candles right now. I’ve been lighting one while either reading for pleasure or working on assignments for school. So I am loving this current trend of bookish candles and wax melts that smell like popular favorite characters and fictional places!

2. Magnetic bookmarks
At present, I stick whatever receipt or random scrap paper I find in my room in between the pages of my latest read to hold my place. But I have a dream…. that one day, I will have the most adorable bookish magnetic bookmarks corresponding to my favorite characters/novels.

3. Page overlays
I think page overlays are such a cool idea! Who doesn’t love beautiful illustrations to go along with their favorite stories? In particular, I am obsessed with the new ACOMAF page overlays being released by Reading Portal!

4. Tiaras!
I see my fellow fantasy lovers all over social media cosplaying as their favorite characters or simply organizing their bookshelves with the most beautiful crowns. And I love to see it! I want some sparkle for my shelves too!

5. Book sleeves
The more I read about these, the more I’m starting to feel like they’re a must-have! It causes a special kind of heartbreak every time I pull a book out of my bag or backpack and see a folded cover or wrinkled pages. I want to leave the house with my books staying just as protected as they are on my shelf. So I’ve got to get myself some book sleeves!

6. Canvas prints
Specifically, canvas prints of my favorite book couples. I know people have mixed opinions on fan art – and honestly so do I – but some pieces I’ve come across… are exquisite. They capture the characters and scenes so well that I want to frame it and put it on my bedroom wall immediately so I can look at it every time I’m reading.

7. Cardan’s letters
Speaking of my favorite book couples, I want to own a bookish merch version of Cardan’s letters to Jude. They’re just so precious, and I’ve been looking everywhere on Etsy but I can’t find a seller (the one depicted is from a seller who is currently taking a break from selling on Etsy). Someone, please recreate the letters and take all my money for them <3 I want to display them on my shelf next to my Cruel Prince set.

8. Bookish stickers
I’m obsessed with stickers. I decorate my physical planners and journals with them, and so I’m always on the lookout for more book-related stickers: fan-art, favorite quotes, symbolism, all of the above!

9. Bandini babe sweatshirt
As I’m currently making my way through Lauren Asher’s Dirty Air series, I am in full Bandini Babe mode right now. Noah Slade is my current book crush, and I desperately want to own Maya’s sweatshirt that says Bandini babe across the front <3 It’s so cute!

10. Autographed books
I don’t know why, but I just love signed copies of books by my favorite authors. It’s just one of my favorite things in the world. I’m attending two book signing events this summer and I’m beyond excited to add more to my collection 🥰
I do love collecting signed books too. I have a lot of bookmarks, but somehow end up still using scraps of loose paper ha ha.

I also love signed books! I have quite a lot of book related stickers on my laptop, but I’m running out of room…..

A great list! I never thought about signed books as being bookish merch. I do have one that I received as a gift for Christmas a few years ago.
